The Blue Rose is the Great Mystery; that which exists just out of reach but calls to us in our dreams with fervent longing.
This Faery Rose unfurls its petals revealing to us its grand seduction and reminding us that there is more to life than what we can see before us.
F(a)eri(e) is a form of American Traditional Witchcraft derived from the teachings of Victor and Cora Anderson and passed down through their various initiates. A rich and diverse spiritual art, Feri seeks to transform the individual through practices of ritual magic, meditation, and energy work. Faery draws power from various cultures and their magical systems including Huna; Conjure; Voodoo; Tantra; Celtic Folklore; Christian Mysticism; Yezidi Mythology; Greek Gnosis; and others, and continues to integrate the magic and mysteries of ancient and evolving cultures into its rich spiritual tapestry.
BlueRose is a teaching coven and lineage founded by Storm Faerywolf of the Faery tradition. It consists of three parts: An open outer court, an intermediary school, and an inner mystery priesthood.
The inner priesthood consists of a growing body of initiates who each take the tools and power of Faery in new directions. The school offers deep and personal training in traditional Faery/Feri witchcraft using discussion, ritual, reading and written assignments, art projects, and more. It is offered as a long distance course (which offers written lessons, MP3s, live group video sessions, and some private sessions online.)
Some who embark upon this path will be lead to initiation into the Faery priesthood and find their place in our diverse and unconventional company. Others will find just another step upon their individual path. We hold both as sacred and strive to embody the paradox of respecting the mystery of our priesthood while remaining open in our approach.
BlueRose offers Faery training in three levels: Novice (via the Black Rose Witchcraft course), Practitioner, and Dedicant.
Online course (Largely self-paced; minimum of 1 year)
$25/month or $250 if pre-paid in full
Training in BlueRose begins with the Black Rose Witchcraft online course, a self-paced (but minimum of 13 months) journey into the Craft of the Witch which offers some of the foundational work of the Faery tradition. Drawing from several different traditions of witchcraft and folk-magic, Black Rose will teach you how to meditate, clear your energy, cast a circle, invoke the elements, cast effective spells, and more. This is not for beginners to the Craft but for those who have studied and practiced on their own and wish to take that practice to “the next level”.
The curriculum is centered around monthly themes from which weekly lessons will be unlocked. These lessons may be performed at your own pace and come in the form of Podcasts, written and artistic materials, as well as guided trance journeys via MP3s. Add to this a thriving community and online forum and you are experiencing the very finest witchcraft training available both in-person and online.

We will work with elements of ancestral worship as well as divine possession, practice with specific inner temples, angelic and overworld practices, the confrontation and integration of personal demons, work to embody ecstatic spiritual service, and the achevement of one’s “grail”; a personal obstacle of some importance and difficulty.
